I'm a fourth year in biomedical engineering from Springfield Virginia. I started volunteering in the Botchwey lab in the middle of my second year and working on my capstone project in the lab. My research interests are currently focused on using systems analysis tools to understand the angiogenic mechanism of phthalimide neovascular factor 1 (PNF1). PNF1 has the potential to improve vascular efficiency in seeded scaffolds and could eventually lead to novel therapeutic treatments. After I graduate in the spring, I hope to pursue graduate school and get my Ph.D.
