I am a fourth-year undergraduate student in the Biomedical Engineering Department, originating from Newtown, Connecticut. Since joining the lab in the beginning of my third-year, the majority of my efforts have been integrating a multi-emissive boron biomaterial, created by the Dr. Cassandra Fraser Laboratory, with polymer nanofibers, possibly utilized as an oxygen detection tool within tissue engineering applications. After graduating from UVa, my goal is to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.
