I am a first year graduate student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at UVA. I grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania where early history of our country is all around. As an undergrad I attended Penn State where I enjoyed the rural campus setting. I am looking forward to exploring the countryside around Charlottesville by hiking and running. My research passion is Type 1 Diabetes and I am excited to have the opportunity to work on a pancreas transplant outcome improvement project.
