I'm a 4th year BME undergrad student from Pittsburgh, PA. My hobbies include anything active, such as hiking, waterskiing, snow skiing, soccer, and running. I am co-president of the UVA Women's Club Lacrosse team but right now I have a stress fracture which is inhibiting my playing ability. I am currently working on my Capstone Project in the Botchwey lab, which focuses on the clinical use of platelet rich plasma (PRP) combined with an osteogenic drug to induce bone formation in fractures or breaks. After I graduate, I plan on going out into the real world and working for a consulting firm or a medical sales company.
Education:
University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA
B.S. degree candidate, Biomedical Engineering, May 2010
