I'm a fourth year Biomedical Engineer from Fredericksburg, Va (born and raised!). I've been involved in Botchwey's Lab since Summer of 2008 and I am now doing my Senior Capstone design project in his lab (Team BBC!). My project is focused on delivering FTY720, an osteogenic drug, coupled with Platelet-Rich Plasma to a wound site in hopes of regenerating bone. Upon graduation (May 2010!), I plan to continue my education and attend graduate school. I enjoy being around my BIG family (I'm one of eight children!) and friends, playing flag football, trying new foods, watching sports, and listening to music. It's been a long time coming but I do enjoy the Charlottesville area and I am proud to be a Cavalier. Let's Go Hoos!!!

Education:

University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA
B.S. degree candidate, Biomedical Engineering, May 2010
