I'm a rising fourth year in biomedical engineering with a minor in engineering business from Howard County, MD. I started researching in the Botchwey lab this past August for my capstone project. My research interests are currently focused on using platelet-rich plasma, PRP, coupled with FTY720 as a new biological based therapy for accelerated bone growth.  PRP may be utilized as a delivery mechanism and a concentrated form of growth factors and platelets.  FTY720 will enhance the effects of PRP with its osteogenic capabilities. After I graduate in the spring, I hope to either pursue graduate school or enter the job industry.

Education:

University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA
B.S. degree candidate, Biomedical Engineering, May 2010
